* Individuals that took their Medical Laser Safety Officer
Exam and Certification directly from the Board of Laser Safety, rather than
through the Laser Training Institute programs, will have their information
listed on that BLS website.
CERTIFICATION TYPES & STATUS:
"Candidate" Status - have successfully passed the examination but
awaiting to complete the experience requirement and/or submit the documentation
"Full Certification" - have successfully passed the examination and met the
other requirements for Laser Certification
CLSO/M - Certified Medical Laser Safety Officer - this includes those under the
Board of Laser Safety (BLS) of the Laser Institute of America (members of the
NCLE)
CLA - Certified Laser Assistant - (Medical/Surgical)
CLRT - Certified Laser Repair Technician
CLO/A - Certified Laser Operator - Aesthetic
CLO/HR - Certified Laser Operator - Hair Removal
