The sequence for the certification process is:

  1. Read through the Candidate Handbook to ensure you meet the qualifications both for testing, and full certification.

  2. Submit an application form to the NCLE along with the fees. (You may fax to 305-946-0232)

  3. When submitting your application let us know which ETA Itl testing facility is most convenient for you. (CLICK HERE FOR LOCATIONS)

  4. You will receive an e-mail notification that you qualify to take an examination (or not), and you may then contact the ETA office to schedule the exam.

  5. You will receive your pass/fail status within 3 weeks or less of taking the examination.

  6. If successfully completing the examination and meeting other requirements, you will be notified by NCLE and receive your Certification document and NCLE membership information.

Please note that if you are attending one of the Professional Medical Education Assn Training Courses, or those of some affiliated programs, that the NCLE Laser Certification exams are usually administered at these programs. No advance application is necessary and the application forms will be provided at the course.
